I remember when I was in school and we used to get that paper with all the dots on it and do lots of cool shape drawings with felt tips – ah yes, thats what its called – Isometric drawings. Well, recently I found a place where I could download an isometric grid and I printed it off a few times so I could pretend I was scribbling away back in Maths class at school. Except this time I didn’t have a crush on the boy sitting In front of me or a secret Mars Bar stashed away in my Spice Girls pencil case.

Anyway, I digress, I made this typography for Anime Shinbun, a website where you can find out lots of things that are going on in the Anime and Manga world. I used my isometric grid to sketch it out and then made it on the computer in Vectors and ruffled up the edges in photoshop. It’s about to be printed as a tshirt and should be available from the HAVAmedia store soon.
